I would definitely recommend Ōritsu Martial Arts to anyone who is interested in martial arts. Classes are suitable for anyone regardless your level of fitness or your knowledge of karate. Instructors are brilliant, not only they have lots of years of experience but they know to make the classes enjoyable for everyone.
We found this academy years ago when my son was interested in learning karate, he loved it that much that the rest of the family decided to join too. So if anyone is interested, It's a great way to learn a new hobby, get more fit and meet lovely people.
My grandson absolutely loves coming here. He is always practising his punches and kicks at every opportunity. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable.
They deliver first class lessons to the children. The children are taught to listen, focus and do their best. There is always plenty of praise to keep them motivated and engaged at all times.
I love watching the amazing progress the children make each week. The children always have smiles on their faces which shows they are having fun as well as learning a valuable skill.
I love it here.
Senseis (instructors) are highly experienced and professional. Lessons are inclusive and family friendly: all ages and abilities are catered for. Lessons combine the perfect mix of fun and focused practice on kata, techniques and combinations. Three members of my family (including me) have joined Oritsu; this has had a very positive impact on our confidence and wellbeing.
A great fun place to learn martial arts. Instructors have years and years of experience.
A very relaxed but structured environment for kids and adults alike.
If you are about to start or continue your martial arts journey , couldn’t recommend this club highly enough . They are a family that makes each and every student feel part of their martial arts family . They not only teach and explain , but care and acknowledgment each student as an individual and not just a number . Thankyou to Mr Queen senior , Mrs Queen , Mr Queen junior & Mr Oldroyd for not only teaching Bobby a skill but making it fun .
I can't recommend these classes enough. My kid loves going there since the first karate class. Mr and Mrs Queen (and their little helpers) make the classes very enjoyable, they don't only teach them karate but how to try to be a better person. Between the class, they always do some fun games that all love. Not to mention, I'm also very thankful to Mr Oldroyd, he's always been really caring with my kid and try to encourage him when he gets shy.
